Mycel

Mycel

Mycel is a blockchain interoperability project focused on developing decentralized infrastructure for secure cross-chain asset transfers. Its core solutions, including Transferable Accounts and the Account Transfer Protocol (ATP), enable users to manage and trade assets across different blockchains seamlessly. Mycel also aims to build a decentralized content delivery network (dCDN) as a scalable, community-driven alternative to traditional CDNs.

Description

Mycel is developing a decentralized infrastructure for secure and frictionless cross-chain asset transfers. At the core of its innovation is the concept of Transferable Accounts, which enable users to move, manage, and trade assets across multiple blockchains while retaining complete control, making it easier to interact with different blockchains as if they were part of a single, cohesive system. This is facilitated by an Account Transfer Protocol (ATP) for direct native token exchange between blockchains by transferring key ownership. Security is a key focus, ensured through the use of Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) where private keys are generated and stored without exposure. The Astraeus release was the first public demonstration of these capabilities, helping users manage assets across various platforms, including Layer 2 solutions, more safely and efficiently.
