Description
NeoResearch is an open-source community (not a private company or legally constituted entity) focused on developing groundbreaking research and technology for the NEO blockchain ecosystem. Its contributors work on NeoVM compilers, consensus algorithm improvements (such as dBFT optimizations), smart account tools, and educational materials for developers and academic students. Key projects include NeoCompiler Eco (an ecosystem of compiler RPC servers and smart contract testing tools), SMACCO (a Smart Account Composer), Neo Dappgram (fluxogram diagrams for Neo Dapps), a Neo AVM optimizer, and various testing and learning resources. The community is supported by the NEO Foundation, which provides NEO rewards redistributed to contributors according to governance rules, and it collaborates with other NEO ecosystem groups such as City of Zion, NewEconoLabs, AmazoNeo, and NEO SPCC. NeoResearch members have also published academic papers on blockchain consensus and smart cities, and regularly participate in NEO community events, meetups, and conferences worldwide, primarily serving NEO blockchain developers, researchers, and the broader NEO community.
