onocoy is a decentralized, community-powered network for high-precision GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) data, addressing the high cost and patchy coverage of current correction data services. By separating the operation of reference stations from service provision, it aims to lower costs, improve market consistency, and expand coverage. The platform collects, standardizes (in RTCM3 format), and validates GNSS data from a global network of community-operated reference stations. This data is then streamed to users, with seamless micropayments handled through a blockchain-based system for transparency and efficiency. The goal is to enable mass adoption of high-precision positioning for applications such as autonomous drones, commercial robots, vehicle positioning, and autonomous machinery.
