Openverse Network

Openverse Network

Openverse Network is a high-performance Layer0 blockchain infrastructure aiming to be the foundation for a "Value Internet." It connects other blockchains and supports various applications with features like fast transaction speeds, low fees, and protocols for creating different types of digital assets (Bitcurrency, Privcurrency, Bitsecurity). Its native token, Bitgold, is central to the ecosystem for transactions, staking, and governance.

Description

Openverse Network is a Layer0 infrastructure for the Value Internet, designed to connect various blockchain networks as the Layer1 application layer. It boasts high performance with a TPS of over 300,000, a block cycle of 0.38s based on a DPOS+POH consensus mechanism, and near-zero gas fees. Key features include the Value Transfer Protocol (VTP), Open Name Service (ONS), Unified Identification (UID), and Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC). The network supports a range of protocols like VRC10 (Bitcurrency), VRC11 (Privcurrency), VRC12 (Bitsecurity), as well as VRC20 tokens and VRC721 NFTs, similar to Ethereum's standards. The native asset, Bitgold (BTG), is used for gas fees, staking to issue other digital assets, as a medium of exchange on its decentralized market (Openswap), and for network governance.
