OriginTrail is building a decentralized AI infrastructure that combines a Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG) with Large Language Models (LLMs). This neuro-symbolic AI approach aims to provide reliable and verifiable information to combat AI hallucinations. The DKG acts as a source of structured, connected data, ensuring data origin and integrity, while integrating with various generative AI models for creative outputs. The platform is used across multiple real-world sectors, including supply chains, transportation, life sciences, healthcare, and decentralized science, with partners such as Walmart, BSI, and SBB. As a permissionless network, it allows builders to create Knowledge Assets—unique, ownable digital entities stored on the DKG. The platform supports setting up DKG Edge Nodes, building custom AI agents with decentralized Retrieval-Augmented Generation (dRAG), and creating private networks (paranets). OriginTrail is open-source and integrates with various applications like Google Vertex AI, NVIDIA, Zilliz, Amazon Neptune, Ontotext GraphDB, and OpenAI to create a powerful decentralized AI infrastructure. The ecosystem is supported by staking TRAC tokens to secure the network. As part of the next phase of the Internet (Web3), OriginTrail organizes billions of physical and digital assets, enabling discovery and verification of anything from real-world assets to NFTs and DeFi.
