Phylax

Phylax builds the Credible Layer, a network-native policy engine that lets on-chain protocols define states they must never reach and have integrated networks reject violating transactions before settlement. It serves DeFi protocols (vaults, lending markets, DEXs, multisigs/Safes), blockchain networks and appchains seeking shared circuit breakers, and capital allocators and custodians needing verifiable, enforceable risk evidence.

Description

Phylax is a security infrastructure company building the Credible Layer, a policy engine for programmable capital that runs in the pre-settlement block-building path of integrated networks. Protocols declare invariants, circuit breakers, and policies in Solidity (via assertions, PhEVM, and the credible-std library), and the network enforces them on every transaction, rejecting violations before settlement without adding a pause committee, trusted signer, or settlement delay. The platform serves apps and protocols (Safes/multisigs, vault mandates, lending markets, DEX pools, AML/contagion controls), blockchain networks and appchains wanting ecosystem-wide circuit breakers, and capital allocators/custodians who need diligence-grade evidence of active enforcement, release history, and rule-level violation traces. Phylax is live in production on Linea since January 2026, has partnered with Linea and protocols such as Lagoon, and works with clients including Euler, 0x, and Kyber. The company is backed by investors including Robot Ventures, Public Works, Figment Capital, A Capital, Arete Capital, Nascent, Echo, Breed VC, Bankless Ventures, and Hash3, alongside a broad network of angel investors from crypto security, research, and infrastructure backgrounds. Phylax is headquartered with offices in New York and Frankfurt.
