PizzaDAO is the organization behind Rare Pizzas, a collection of 10,000 generatively baked pizza NFTs created in collaboration with 314 international artists. Each Pizza Box NFT can be opened to mint a randomly generated pizza. Sales support PizzaDAO, which throws a Global Pizza Party every May 22 to commemorate Laszlo Hanyecz's famous 2010 Bitcoin pizza purchase.

PizzaDAO operates Rare Pizzas, a generative NFT project consisting of 10,000 uniquely baked pizzas produced through a collaboration between 314 international artists. Users can buy a Pizza Box NFT which allows them to mint a randomly generated Pizza NFT, with boxes and pizzas tracked via separate smart contracts. The project commemorates May 22, 2010, when Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoin, an event now celebrated annually as a Global Pizza Party. Proceeds from Rare Pizza sales support PizzaDAO's activities. The team, referred to as 'The Kitchen,' includes a Head Chef, Oven Chef, and several Toppings and Sous Chefs who manage the project.Grant Funding
