Pocket Network

Pocket Network is a decentralized infrastructure network providing high-performance, self-healing access to public blockchain data across 60+ chains. It operates a permissionless network of nodes (suppliers) that serve RPC/API requests for applications, gateways, and dApps, coordinated by the POKT token.

Description

Pocket Network provides free, no-key-required public RPC APIs and decentralized data access to more than 60 blockchains, powered by a network of 5,000+ nodes that have served roughly 1 trillion relays to date. The protocol is coordinated by the POKT token, which is staked by applications, suppliers (node runners), and gateway operators to participate in the decentralized data economy. The Pocket Network Foundation, a non-profit, supports the ecosystem through initiatives such as the F-Chains program, which offers wholesale-cost, no-key RPC access to chain foundations and dApps as a public good, and through partnerships (e.g., with AnChain.AI on compliance intelligence). The network recently completed the 'Shannon' protocol upgrade and continues to evolve its tokenomics (e.g., PIP-41 introducing a 97.5% mint ratio) via DAO governance. Its clients/users include dApp developers, wallets, chain foundations, and infrastructure operators seeking reliable, decentralized data access.
