Description

Point Network had been developed mainly since 2021 and launched its mainnet, Web3 browser, and a series of Web3 apps in September 2022. Following funding difficulties, Arweave- and AO-affiliated legal entities acquired Point for unpaid debt in 2024. Its final POINT-to-AO conversion window closed on September 9, 2025; new claims are not processed, no further development is expected, and the POINT network is planned for decommissioning, potentially retaining only read-only RPC access.
