PraSaga is developing SagaChain, a next-generation layer-one blockchain that replaces traditional smart contracts with a class-based object model called XBOM (eXtensible Blockchain Object Model). This allows applications to interact directly with on-chain "Smart Assets" using simple Python scripts via SagaPython. To address the blockchain trilemma, SagaChain utilizes a native sharded architecture for scalability, a hybrid Proof-of-Stake (PoS) and Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus model for security, and is operated by independent third-party nodes to ensure decentralization. The platform also incorporates a unique monetary policy for its native SagaCoin, designed to stabilize purchasing power based on the network's internal economic metrics. PraSaga is a member of the Digital Twin Consortium and is establishing open standards (SagaStandards) through various working groups to foster enterprise adoption in sectors like healthcare, cybersecurity, and automotive.
