Description

Proof of Humanity (PoH) is a decentralized, sybil-resistant registry of verified human identities. It enables various applications by ensuring that participants are real individuals, thus enhancing security, fairness, and trust. To join, a person must submit their profile, including their name, photo, and a short video. This profile must then be vouched for by an already verified human. Other users can challenge suspicious profiles to maintain the registry's integrity, with disputes being resolved through the Kleros court. Key use cases include self-sovereign identities for seamless dApp logins, secure online voting and governance by preventing Sybil attacks, fair airdrops by eliminating bots, legitimate certifications linked to verified individuals, equitable credit scoring, and fostering safer social media environments by removing spam and trolls. Developers can integrate PoH into their projects using its smart contract interface to verify human users.
