Description

Provenance Blockchain Foundation operates Provenance Blockchain, a distributed proof-of-stake blockchain built with the Cosmos SDK to modernize and democratize financial services. The chain provides infrastructure for real-world asset tokenization, digital loan registries, securities, private credit, and fund tokenization, offering flat fixed transaction fees and instant transaction finality instead of variable gas fees and probabilistic settlement. It supports use cases such as supply chain, real estate, invoice/receivables, IP/royalty, private equity, banking, and digital asset custody tokenization. The Foundation partners with and supports institutions and companies building on the chain, including Figure (home equity lending), YLDS (SEC-registered yield-bearing stablecoin), DART (digital loan registry), and Figure Markets (a trading platform for HASH and other assets), and has facilitated case studies with institutions like JPMorgan. It also governs the network's decentralized governance process, validator program, developer documentation, and the HASH utility token economics, serving institutional partners, developers, validators, and increasingly retail/individual users under its 'Web3.5' vision for democratized financial access.
