Push Chain

Push (formerly the Ethereum Push Notification Service / Push Protocol) has built Push Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built for 'Universal Apps' that lets developers deploy once and reach users from any chain (EVM or non-EVM) without bridging. It serves web3 developers building cross-chain dApps and end users who transact using their existing wallets and tokens from any chain.

Description

Push Chain is a shared-state Layer 1 blockchain designed to eliminate fragmentation across web3 by enabling 'Universal Apps' — smart contracts deployed once that any user, on any chain (EVM or non-EVM), can interact with using their existing wallet and tokens, with fees abstracted so users can pay gas in any token. The project originated as the Ethereum Push Notification Service (EPNS)/Push Protocol, a decentralized communications and notifications protocol for web3, and evolved into Push Chain following a community governance vote in late 2024. Push Chain offers core infrastructure including a Core SDK, UI Kit, a public Donut testnet, a block explorer (Push Scan), a bridge, a faucet, and PUSD, a universal cross-chain stablecoin. Its ecosystem serves developers building universal dApps (DeFi, gaming, payments, agentic AI) as well as everyday web3 users seeking a chain-agnostic experience; it has undergone a Hacken security audit ahead of mainnet launch.
