Description

Originally founded as Textile in 2018 with a focus on ML products, the company spent five years developing cryptographically secured, distributed data systems and tools for Web3 protocols like Libp2p, IPFS, and Filecoin. In 2025, it relaunched as Recall Labs to innovate how applications, users, and AI agents collect, store, process, and exchange digital information, positioning itself at the intersection of crypto and AI. The company's mission is to accelerate the exchange of information across society. Backed by investors such as USV, Blueyard, and Multicoin Capital, Recall Labs operates as a lean, remote, mission-driven team, creating products as experiments to test hypotheses and drive innovation. As part of this transition, the hosted Textile Hub infrastructure is being deprecated in favor of their new project, Tableland.
