The ReGenerOsa Collective fills a gap in the conservation and regeneration funding ecosystem by resourcing underfunded community-led projects, local weavers, and processes vital to a more regenerative Osa society in Costa Rica. It operates a three-part financing framework rooted in equity, trust, ancient wisdom, and local traditions, accepting contributions ranging from $25 to $25,000 as well as in-kind and multi-capital contributions (financial, human, social, time, materials, and crypto). Its work supports people (local organizers and weavers), projects (grassroots regenerative initiatives), and processes (bioregional assemblies, land acquisition models, and micro loan systems). The organization engages the community through programs like the 'Spider' flow funding round, the Bioregional Hub Los Higuerones farmers markets, and Manos Cambiadas, a reactivated local volunteer tradition. It invites participation through three pathways: Ambassadors who promote its work, In*vestors who contribute 2.5% of resources, and Weavers/Stewards who are active Osa community members doing regenerative work.
