Remix Project is a suite of open-source tools for smart contract development on Ethereum, centered around Remix IDE, a no-setup development environment used by developers at every skill level. Remix Project supports the entire smart contract development journey, offering a rich set of plugins with intuitive GUIs and requiring no local setup. Remix IDE, the project's flagship product, is available as both a web app (remix.ethereum.org) and a desktop app, and is compatible with Firefox, Chrome, and Brave browsers (not supported on tablets or mobile devices). Beyond the IDE, the Remix Project encompasses the Remix Plugin Engine and Remix Libraries, low-level tools intended for wider use by the developer community.
