Description

RunesDEX is a decentralized exchange (DEX) and Automated Market Maker (AMM) operating on the Bitcoin blockchain, specifically designed for the Runes protocol. It allows users to trade Runes, Ordinals, and BRC-20 tokens in a permissionless manner by swapping assets directly against liquidity pools, rather than using traditional order books. The platform's core products include an Exchange and an Explorer for viewing tokens, pools, and transactions. Users can provide liquidity to pools by depositing BTC and Runes tokens to earn trading fees. RunesDEX utilizes technologies like Taproot addresses and requires users to manage their UTXOs. For developers, it offers a comprehensive REST API that provides Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBTs) for non-custodial integration. The project also has its own native token, RUNES•NETWORK.
