Scala is an open-source cryptocurrency project maintained by a community of developers, designers, and privacy advocates. Its decentralized proof-of-work network uses the privacy-oriented CryptoNote protocol and the Panthera algorithm, designed for CPU and ARM/mobile mining. Scala provides XLA, wallet options, mining software including Mobile Miner and XLArig, notary nodes, and Scala Share, an IPFS-based anonymous file-sharing service.
