Description

SealVault is an open-source project focused on creating a secure, user-friendly, and private self-custody Web3 key manager application designed for everyday use with social and gaming dapps. The project aims to solve common user problems such as fear of getting hacked by isolating dapps with specific keys, replacing insecure seed phrases with self-custody cloud backups and social recovery, and preventing doxxing by allowing users to maintain separate profiles for different identities. It also addresses approval fatigue through automated transaction signing and improves mobile user experience with features like quick launch and multitasking. The roadmap includes developing a cross-platform core in Rust, an iOS app, support for Ethereum and Polygon, and eventually expanding to more chains and platforms with features like E2EE sync and smart personalization.
