Description
Shamba Network provides an open-source decentralized climate data oracle and dMRV infrastructure. Its network uses satellite data from NASA, ESA, NOAA, and JAXA, along with ground-truthed field data and expert validation, to deliver tamper-resistant environmental data to smart contracts across multiple blockchain networks. The platform supports NDVI, rainfall, soil carbon, fire detection, and land-use data, enabling applications such as parametric insurance, carbon and impact credits, green bonds, climate finance, prediction markets, and conditional aid.
