Description
Shutdown, developed by Xenum Games (playshutdown.com), is a top-down tactical shooter set in a sci-fi dystopian future where humanity wages a war of extinction against the AI it created. Players take on the role of a Mongrel, a cyborg super-soldier engineered to fight the AI threat, and can team up with friends in a 3-player co-op mode to battle AI enemies. The game features customizable roguelike loadouts that let players build unique combinations of stats and abilities, combined with a dynamic seasonal content system. Shutdown is currently in development and listed on Steam, with the studio periodically running community playtests via Discord.
