Description

SIMBA Chain, which stands for Simple Blockchain Applications, provides a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) designed to simplify secure data interactions for governments and enterprises. Incubated at the University of Notre Dame in 2017 after receiving a DARPA grant, the company focuses on making Web3 technology accessible. The platform enables secure, decentralized data management, orchestration, and analysis, built on blockchain technology and adhering to W3C standards. It converts data into trusted, portable, and verifiable assets using decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials (VCs). SIMBA Chain streamlines development by auto-generating REST APIs, supporting both public and private blockchains, and offering a suite of tools for scalability, including low-code options and SDKs. The platform serves a wide range of industries, including supply chain, manufacturing, aviation, government, and healthcare, with notable clients like the US Air Force, Boeing, and the Department of Defense.
