Smart Invoice is a free, easy-to-use web3 tool that provides cryptocurrency invoicing, escrow, and arbitration services for freelancers. It allows freelancers to accept crypto payments from clients, securely hold funds in smart contracts until milestones are completed, and resolve disputes through third-party arbitration. It primarily serves web3 freelancers of all types, not just developers, and their clients.

Description
Smart Invoice enables web3 freelancers to create cryptocurrency invoices, allowing clients to fund one or more project milestones. Funds are held securely in a smart contract until the freelancer completes the milestone and the client releases payment, protecting freelancers from non-payment and clients from paying for incomplete work. The platform supports ERC-20 tokens on networks including Ethereum Mainnet, Gnosis, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Holesky, and Sepolia Testnet. If a dispute arises, either party can lock funds to trigger a review by a third-party arbitrator (such as Kleros), which charges a maximum 5% fee automatically deducted from escrow. Smart Invoice requires no email signup or account creation—users simply connect a crypto wallet. It was originally built as an internal tool by RaidGuild DAO to solve payment challenges for its freelance service work, and was later spun off into a public, free tool funded through web3 grants (including from MolochDAO) and donations, serving individual web3 freelancers and their clients worldwide.Grant Funding
