Smoothly is an open-source Ethereum MEV smoothing pool that lets home stakers pool execution layer rewards (tips and MEV) from block proposals to access more consistent, mean-level rewards. Stakers set their validator's fee recipient to Smoothly's pool contract, register their address, and claim their share of rewards every 21 days.

Description
Smoothly is a trust-minimized, not-for-profit, open-source MEV smoothing pool built for Ethereum home stakers. Rather than relying on a single centralized entity, Smoothly uses 6 independent oracle operators that reach consensus on the state of registrants, and the pool takes a 1.5% fee that is split equally among the oracle operators to cover costs, with the Smoothly team taking no additional fee. The project was founded by a home staker known as Kody (Kodys.eth), who wanted a simple, no-frills MEV smoothing pool requiring no extra monitoring software on the staking machine. Users simply change their validator's fee recipient to the pool contract address, register with their funding or withdrawal address, and accrue rewards over time. Smoothly is live for Ethereum Mainnet validators and positions itself as a bridge solution until similar reward-smoothing mechanisms are enshrined directly into the Ethereum protocol.Grant Funding
