Description

Snowball Venture Studio is a community-driven DAO founded in March 2021 that launched Snowball Earn, the first auto-compounding yield platform on Avalanche. Since then it has expanded its ecosystem through Axial, a decentralized stableswap DAO launched in September 2021; the acquisition of Teddy, a borrowing protocol behind the TSD stablecoin, in December 2021; Lava, a liquid staking protocol launched in 2022; and FiHub, an all-in-one DeFi aggregation platform. The organization operates as a venture studio, partnering with and incubating new DeFi projects on Avalanche, and governs itself through its native token xSNOB, which grants voting power, platform revenue share, boosted rewards, and shares of venture projects' tokens. Snowball also runs a DeFi University offering free educational content on topics like gas fees, bridges, Avalanche infrastructure, and the metaverse, targeting everyday DeFi users looking to grow their crypto assets and knowledge.
