State Street Investment Management is the asset management division of State Street Corporation, managing trillions in assets for institutional investors, governments, and financial advisors. The firm pioneered the first US-listed ETF in 1993 with the SPDR S&P 500 ETF and has since expanded to offer index funds, actively managed strategies, and specialized investment products across equity, fixed income, and alternative asset classes.
