Description

Stealth is a cryptocurrency created in 2014 on a dedicated blockchain, positioning itself as a technically advanced digital currency. Its core is the Junaeth consensus mechanism, a private high-performance blockchain protocol that launched on mainnet in May 2021. Junaeth is designed to improve upon protocols like EOS and Ethereum, supporting smart contracts, sidechains, on-chain governance, and oracles. As a BTC descendant, Stealth (XST) offers unique features like true feeless and fee-optional transactions, including for multisignature applications. The protocol features 5-second block times for near-instant transactions, high throughput (up to 917 TPS on a single core with potential for over 150,000 TPS), and robust spam resistance. For privacy, Stealth is developing sidechains (StealthPrivate) that utilize zk-SNARKs for fully private transactions, while the main chain (StealthCore) is designed for speed, security, and compliance with regulations like the FATF Travel Rule. The project is managed by co-founders Sascha Pahlke and Dr. James Stroud, PhD.
