Description
Stroom develops strBTC, an economically secured, yield-bearing wrapped Bitcoin asset for DeFi. Users can deposit BTC or stake wBTC to receive strBTC, which is designed to earn native BTC yield from Lightning Network routing fees and other Bitcoin infrastructure opportunities. The protocol uses a whitelisted federated multi-collateral bridge backed by restaking and slashing mechanisms intended to protect against bridge-operator failures or malicious activity. It also operates a Stroom Lightning Node and provides token wrapping, minting, redemption, staking, and DeFi app interfaces.Grant Funding
