Description

Superchief Gallery, founded in 2012 by Edward Zipco & Bill Dunleavy in Brooklyn, New York, has a long history of supporting artists from disparate scenes and collectives, enabling them to participate on a global scale. On March 25th, 2021, Superchief Gallery NFT opened in New York City, establishing itself as the world's first physical/IRL NFT gallery. It has worked with Christie's Auction House on their first CryptoPunk auction, produced the first IRL NFT events for OpenSea, MakersPlace, Foundation, UNICEF, CNN, the United Nations, and NFT/LA, among others. Superchief Gallery NFT also founded the NFT Art Biennale in Venice, Italy with Art Blocks, Bright Moments & Obscura DAO, and founded the NFT KOREA FESTIVAL in Seoul, Korea. As a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary platform, Superchief Gallery presents group and solo exhibitions across various cities including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Lisbon, and continues to find opportunities for the broader Superchief art community.
