Description

Suzaku Protocol is a liquid staking and restaking protocol for Avalanche L1 networks, deployed on the Avalanche C-Chain. Stakers deposit native L1 tokens or blue-chip assets into staking vaults and receive liquid staking tokens in return, while operators run validators for participating L1s. The protocol enables L1 teams to implement progressive decentralization through configurable security models ranging from proof-of-authority to full proof-of-stake and dual staking.

Suzaku Relayer Network (SuzakuRN) is an Avalanche L1 that adds censorship resistance, liveness, and message validity guarantees to the InterChain Messaging (ICM) protocol used for cross-chain communication between Avalanche networks. ICM relies on off-chain relayers to transfer messages between chains, and SuzakuRN prevents these relayers from censoring transactions or going offline. The network also provides a notary service and simplified incentive models for relayer operators.

L1 teams use the auditor to identify security gaps and track progress toward decentralization benchmarks.
