Description
Symbiosis is a decentralized, cross-chain automated market maker (AMM) and exchange protocol that pools liquidity from a wide range of blockchain networks, including L1s, L2s, both EVM and non-EVM. The protocol enables users to swap any token and transfer assets across these disparate chains in a single transaction. Its architecture consists of on-chain smart contracts for handling the logic of cross-chain operations and an off-chain peer-to-peer Relayers Network for secure inter-blockchain communication. Governed by the Symbiosis DAO through its veSIS token model, the platform offers services such as cross-chain swaps, an interchain messaging system, liquidity provision tools (zaps), and farming rewards. For developers, Symbiosis provides an API and SDK to integrate its cross-chain functionalities into their own applications.
