Description
Synapse is comprised of a cross-chain messaging framework and an economically secure method to reach consensus on the validity of cross-chain transactions, enabling developers to build truly native cross-chain apps. The protocol's messaging contracts can be deployed across any blockchain, are secured via an Optimistic security model to ensure the integrity of cross-chain messages, and are generalized to support arbitrary data transfer including contract calls, NFTs, and snapshots. Synapse Bridge, built on top of this cross-chain infrastructure, allows users to seamlessly transfer assets across all blockchains using deep cross-chain AMM liquidity pools, with support for over 16 EVM and non-EVM blockchains. The network has processed millions of transactions and tens of billions of dollars in bridged assets, and is integrated across major Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, and many others.
