Description
Tangem Wallet is a card-shaped, self-custodial hardware wallet that stores cryptocurrency private keys offline in a secure element chip. Transactions are signed by tapping the card against an NFC-enabled smartphone running the Tangem companion app. The app supports buying, selling, swapping, staking, and earning yield on digital assets across multiple blockchain networks. Key backup is distributed across a two- or three-card set, with optional seed phrase support. Tangem Ring is a ring-shaped hardware wallet using the same secure element chip as the Tangem Wallet card. Private keys are generated and stored inside the ring, and transactions are signed by tapping the ring against an NFC-enabled smartphone running the Tangem app. Each set includes one ring and two backup cards that form a shared wallet with distributed key backup. Description
Tangem Pay is a self-custodial payment account integrated into the Tangem Wallet app, providing a virtual Visa card for spending cryptocurrency at merchants wherever Visa is accepted. Users fund the account with USDC on the Polygon network. When a purchase is made, the equivalent USDC is deducted from an on-chain smart contract account and settled through the Visa network in USD. Identity verification through KYC is required. The card is issued by Third National and the service is provided by Paera LLC.Category: Card
