Description
Tapestry is a social protocol that allows developers to tap into the internet’s unified social layer, including Solana, Farcaster, Lens, and Bluesky, to build seamless, scalable social features in under 30 minutes. It enables the seamless integration of a friend graph by pulling profiles from the broader Solana ecosystem, allowing apps to leverage users' wallets to identify accounts they've interacted with across other Solana apps. This reduces development time and effort by eliminating the need to write and maintain thousands of lines of custom code for features like likes, comments, and profiles, which can be implemented with just 10-50 lines of code. Tapestry handles backend components such as database schemas, middleware setup, scalability tests, and caching. By integrating Tapestry, developers can quickly launch social features like following, content feeds, and commenting systems to enhance user engagement and retention. The protocol also supports co-marketing efforts to amplify launches and drive user onboarding.Grant Funding
