Description
Taraxa is a next-generation Layer-1 network founded in 2018 and launched on mainnet on April 3, 2023. Its EVM-compatible smart-contract platform uses t-Graph consensus and a blockDAG architecture, including proof-of-stake and blockDAG finality capabilities, to provide scalable throughput without stated security or decentralization tradeoffs. Taraxa provides infrastructure and resources for developers building dApps, validators operating nodes, and users creating wallets and staking TARA; it also supports ecosystem development such as DeFi, social analytics applications, and cross-chain bridging.
