Users hold their own private keys, with all transactions signed locally on the device before being broadcast to the network. Supported assets include USD₮ on Ethereum, Polygon, Plasma, and Arbitrum; XAU₮ on the same networks; USA₮ on Ethereum; and Bitcoin via on-chain transactions and the Lightning Network. Human-readable @tether.me usernames replace blockchain addresses for in-wallet transfers and LNURL-compatible Bitcoin wallets.
