The Turn
The Turn is a planetary festival of regenerative play held at the turn of each season, where communities across multiple cities compete in games (like Trash Tag, The Feast, and Story Hunters) to manifest regenerative action such as feeding the homeless and collecting trash. It serves a global community of regenerative leaders, metamodernists, and crypto-commoners, and partners with crypto charities like Crypto For The Homeless to validate and refund regenerative acts on-chain.

Description
The Turn is a community-organized, planetary festival of regenerative play that runs seasonal 'Turns' across multiple cities (including Amsterdam, Bangalore, Berlin, Bristol, Brussels, Lisbon and Vienna), where participants compete in games designed to generate real-world regenerative impact — feeding people in need, collecting trash, and gathering stories. Regenerative actions are validated by crypto charities such as Crypto For The Homeless, which reimburses the funds spent into a collectively governed smart contract called the Playnet. The Playnet stakes crypto to generate yield that is reinvested into local regeneration and regenerators, with governance rights distributed to participants via Proof of Play credentials tied to ERC-6551 Playport tokens. The organization is run by and serves a community of metamodernists, regenerative leaders, Game B players, cosmopunkers, social permaculturists, and crypto-commoners playing what they describe as a 10-year game (2020–2030) to change the future of the planet, and it is currently seeking new city organizers, funders, and institutional partners to expand the number of cities and games played.Grant Funding
