Traditional Dream Factory is building a 25-hectare regenerative village in Alentejo, Portugal, transforming a former poultry factory into a functioning intentional community. The project offers volunteer stays, en-suite co-living rooms, artist studios, a farm-to-table restaurant, and syntropic agroforestry integrating 65+ tree species, alongside ecological restoration efforts covering 50% wild habitat. Its $TDF token acts as a non-extractive funding and governance instrument — 1 token equals 1 night of accommodation per year, with holders gaining voting rights on development plans, executive team, and community rules; holding 30+ tokens qualifies for citizenship. The organization is legally structured as the OASA Association registered in Switzerland, one of the few jurisdictions with legal recognition for DAOs. TDF also operates a co-housing program (23 homes planned) and offers secured private loans collateralized against real assets, serving digital nomads, families, remote workers, and people seeking regenerative, community-oriented living.
