Mobile payments platform for sending and receiving money between individuals and paying at participating merchants online and in stores. Users maintain a Venmo balance funded via linked bank accounts, debit cards, or Direct Deposit, and can transfer funds to other users, pay at authorized merchants through QR codes or checkout integrations, and spend with a linked debit card. Additional features include a social transaction feed, cryptocurrency buying, selling, holding, and transfer through a Paxos Trust Company integration; Business Profiles and Tap to Pay for in-person card acceptance; an in-app gift card tool; and purchase protection on qualifying payments.
