Vinter is a crypto index and reference-rate provider acquired by Kaiko. Its former services provide multi-asset and single-asset indexes, reference rates, leveraged indexes, taxonomy data, and NAV calculations for institutional market participants.

Description

Vinter provides cryptocurrency index and reference-rate data through APIs, including multi-asset indexes, single-asset reference rates, leveraged indexes, crypto-asset taxonomy data, and daily or hourly NAV calculations. It served major funds and institutional clients, including ETP issuers. Kaiko has acquired Vinter and is transitioning Vinter customers to Kaiko APIs while maintaining former Vinter services during the transition.
