Description

Voodoo is a decentralized, non-custodial perpetuals exchange built on Base, enabling traders to open margin positions with up to 100x leverage and perform zero-slippage swaps on assets like ETH. The protocol uses Voodoo price curves to concentrate liquidity around market prices, increasing capital efficiency for liquidity providers and allowing for outsized trading positions. Its architecture, called HIVE (Hybrid Intent and Vault Engine), is secured by EigenLayer restaking of ETH and LSDs, and uses intent-based order matching for CEX-like speed while maintaining composability. Voodoo operates a two-token ecosystem: VMX, the utility and governance token that captures platform fee incentives, and VLP, the liquidity provider token that rewards holders with esVMX and ETH-denominated platform fees. Voodoo describes itself as a 100% fair-launch protocol driven by the Base community, with no premine and no private allocations, serving crypto traders and liquidity providers within the Base ecosystem.
