Whales Market is a decentralized pre-market and OTC trading platform that enables peer-to-peer trading of token allocations and points ahead of a project's Token Generation Event (TGE). Users connect a wallet (no sign-up or KYC required) to browse a live order book, fill existing offers, or create their own listings for tokens such as airdrop allocations, private/public sale tokens, and team or advisor allocations. Trades are secured by smart contracts: after a deal is filled, a 4-hour settlement phase begins during which the seller must deposit tokens, and if they fail to do so the buyer can cancel and claim the seller's collateral as compensation.
