XDAG

XDAG

XDAG is a new generation of public chain based on Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) infrastructure, making it the first mineable DAG. It is a community-driven project aiming to solve the 'impossible triangle' of decentralization, security, and high performance. The project provides wallets for iOS, Android, and PC, along with mining software.

Description

XDAG is a community-managed, DAG-based cryptocurrency launched in 2018, described as the first mineable Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) project. Utilizing a DAG architecture instead of a traditional blockchain, it aims to provide a decentralized payment system. The project's ownership was transferred from the original developer to its community. XDAG offers wallets for various platforms (iOS, Android, PC) and supports mining with both CPU and GPU, having switched its mining algorithm to RandomX. The public roadmap outlines significant future developments, including the implementation of EVM-compatible smart contracts, cross-chain protocols, and the XRC-20 token standard, all aimed at enhancing its functionality, interoperability, and decentralization.
