Yellow Network is a decentralized clearing and settlement infrastructure operating as a Layer 3 overlay on existing blockchains. The network processes transactions off-chain through state channels based on the Nitrolite Protocol (ERC-7824 standard), with on-chain smart contracts managing fund custody, dispute resolution, and settlement. Independent node operators run open-source clearnode software, forming a peer-to-peer network that aggregates orderbook liquidity across brokers and exchanges and supports cross-chain asset transfers without bridging. Yellow SDK provides developer tooling for building applications on the network.
