Aegis provides enterprise-grade protection for DevOps pipelines by performing code integrity checks and verifying software dependencies to uncover and trace code issues across an organization's software supply chain, enabling accountability by pinpointing the origin of issues. During each step of software development, Aegis automatically validates and reports on the integrity of all involved software dependencies using 3IPK's own blockchain-powered registry of artifacts, protecting against man-in-the-middle network attacks, malicious code injection, and unintended package versioning discrepancies in dynamic languages such as Python. Aegis was developed in collaboration with cybersecurity experts at Thales Alenia Space and the University of Cambridge, with Thales Alenia Space as its first customer, deploying it across its software supply chain.
