Age of Dino (AOD) is a next-generation MMO strategy game backed by FunPlus, Xterio, and Imagendary Studios, blending Web3.0 blockchain technology with traditional gaming platforms. It features a Play and Earn (P&E) design that lets players own in-game assets and earnings as blockchain-based digital collectibles. Set in a metaverse combining SLG (Simulation Game) and RPG elements, the game includes feeding dinosaurs, resource collection, adventures, park building, and battles against AI-controlled adversaries and mutant dinosaurs, built around a 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate) strategy framework with high-level graphics. The game emphasizes a GameFi 2.0 approach focused on a sustainable in-game economy, robust gameplay, and community, offering real-time chat and PvP battles to foster social interaction among players. It is developed by Gamephilos Studio, targeted for release in 2024H1, and is currently in development, distributed via the Xterio gaming platform.
