Airnode is serverless oracle node software enabling API providers to run first-party oracle nodes that deliver cryptographically signed data directly to smart contracts. Operators configure Oracle Integration Specifications (OIS) to map existing REST API endpoints into blockchain-compatible data formats and deploy through managed cloud infrastructure. By having API providers sign their own data at the source, Airnode establishes cryptographic attribution for on-chain oracle feeds.
