AkibaMiles provides merchant-funded loyalty infrastructure for everyday shopping in Kenya. Customers use Akiba Pass to earn Miles from verified purchases at participating merchants, shop through the Akiba Hub, complete partner quests, and redeem Miles for vouchers, discounts, raffles, and other rewards. Miles are recorded as ERC-20 tokens on Celo.
For merchants, Akiba offers Scan & Award, merchant catalog and dashboard tools, settlement reporting, analytics, and configurable reward programs. Its Platform API enables mobile-money apps, POS systems, fintechs, and neobanks to embed quests, events, campaigns, rewards, vouchers, and webhook functionality. The organization is built and operated by Akiba Ecosystems Ltd and is independent of MiniPay and Opera.
