Description
Ault is Layer 1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK with full Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility. The network uses CometBFT for consensus, providing fast finality with sub-second block times, and allows Ethereum-native smart contracts and tooling to run without modification. The network is governed onchain by Ault DAO, a Wyoming-registered DAO LLC, through a licensed participation framework requiring KYC verification for governance rights. AULT is the native token, used for transaction fees, validator staking, and governance proposal deposits. Token distribution follows a fixed 10-year emissions schedule, allocating 95% of emissions to Licensed Mining Node rewards and 5% to staking rewards.
