Description

Boltz BTCPay Plugin is a non-custodial plugin for BTCPay Server that lets merchants accept Lightning Network payments without needing to run their own Lightning node. Merchants install the plugin on their BTCPay Server, connect an external wallet or create a new one, and can then accept Lightning payments that auto-settle to mainchain Bitcoin. It is powered by Boltz Atomic Swaps and leverages Liquid Taproot Swaps for low fees and increased privacy, with configurable autoswap-to-mainchain-Bitcoin settings. The plugin is built for merchants who want flexibility and full control over their funds without operating Lightning infrastructure themselves, while staying fully non-custodial.
